A number of guests staying at the hotel were there because their event, business meeting or function was being hosted in the conference and event spaces. A number of these guests commented on the excellent organization and catering for their event.

A number of guest reviews either booked the executive floors or were kindly upgraded on check-in. These reviews all raved about the luxurious feel of these spacious and well appointed rooms which feature stylish touches and elegant features.

The three things that featured most consistently across guest reviews was the good Wi-Fi, good food in the Rio Ranch restaurant and the friendly, polite and professional staff. Guests who left comments particularly singled out front desk staff as being particularly helpful during their stay.

Some guests felt that the paper-thin walls were the main reason for their lack of sleep, with many reporting being able to listen in on other guests conversation as there was little-to-no sound-proofing between the rooms. Some guests also reported a disrupted stay due to noisy air-conditioning units.

Some guest reviewers felt that the hotel was old and outdated and could do with a renovation. Some pointed out that they found the bathrooms particularly worn and suggested that renovations start here.

Some guests expressed their disappointment at the lack of amenities in the rooms with a handful of previous guests suggesting that the addition of a microwave or a refrigerator would have made their stay much better.
