The Amarillo Inn and Suites is a hotel that is suited for families and business travellers. It has easy access to the Interstate and is close to the downtown area. It is in a central locality with close proximity to the airport and several attractions the city holds. The American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame can be reached on foot while other places like the museum, and Art and Splash in Amarillo are at a distance of three kilometres.

The rooms and suites at the Inn have the luxury of deep soaking tubs and balconies. The beds sport Egyptian sheets and head rest. All the rooms have a satellite flat screen television and coffee or tea makers.

The Inn has many amenities to ensure that guests have a wonderful time. It has an indoor heated pool with Jacuzzi. A sundeck and loungers are present for guests to lounge. A fitness room for guests to work out and a games and arcade room with pool table are present. The Inn is equipped with a Business Center and meeting rooms for guests travelling on business. Restaurant provides free buffet breakfast with a wide choice of items served hot. A poolside cafe and lounge is also present. Airport shuttle is a free service. Parking and Wi-Fi are other complimentary facilities.

Amenities like the elevator needs servicing as it takes a long time to climb up four floors but comes down rather abruptly. The lounge beside the Inn has loud music on till late in the night causing disturbance to guests with rooms closer to the area.

The smoking and non smoking rooms are not separate, which makes it difficult for non smokers and children.

The rooms at the hotel are overbooked and staff is rude to guests who arrive with third party bookings assigning only rooms that are available and not the ones booked.
