Hotel Greentree Inn - Iah Airpot Jfk Blvd (Houston, USA)

Good value for the buck.  The price is the biggest draw here, aside from proximity to the airport.  Close to IAH Airport of Houston, this locale appears to offer shuttle service - sometimes. (Don't count on it being on time or clean, and have Uber or something else in mind as a back-up.) Check the Metro bus station schedule; one stop nearby gets you to downtown Houston in minutes.  A free continental breakfast is served daily, featuring toast, waffles, juice, coffee, pastries and cereals.

Most found their room did the job for a night's stay and shower.  The temperature was easily adjustable, blackout drapes were handy for sleeping in and the complimentary toiletries were pleasant.  Clean and quiet, for the most part.

Staff is ready to go out of their way for your comfort.  Don't be surprised if they check around for takeout menus or call to offer advice on channel selection for your favorite programs.  Professional, efficient and courteous, you'll be dazzled by the front desk's customer service skills.

Don't bank on the Wi-Fi.  Some reported it worked in the morning and afternoon, but not the evening.  Others insisted it was useless at all times due to insufficient bandwidth.

Being so close to the airport, you can imagine the sound above the hotel.

Significant numbers of guests complained about their rooms; about which aspects was the only question.  Bad smells of smoke, mildew and/or dogs, malfunctioning alarm clocks, dirty/worn carpeting, chipped paint and peeling wallpaper, visible insects (some insisted they were bed bugs), dirty bathrooms, stained sheets (or full of hairs), patched-up fixtures, and overwhelming chemical air freshener smells in attempts to cover. Choose alternatives nearby for a few extra bucks - you'll be happier.
