Hotel Forest Lodge Apartments (Brisbane, Australia)

Guests commented that the accommodation was perfectly located for their trip. Close enough to the inner city and also close to the local shopping centre at Indooroopilly. Guests also stayed here due to the hotels' proximity to the University of Queensland, which is a seven minute drive away.

The hotel is located a short eight minute walk to the Indooroopilly train station which links into Brisbane city and to the southern suburbs of Brisbane city.  There is also a bus terminal at  Indooroopilly shopping town servicing the local area and many guests commented how convenient the transport options from the hotel were.

Many previous guests looking to keep their accommodation costs within a budget commented that they felt like they had found a hidden gem in this property, as it is often difficult to find reasonably priced accommodation in major cities and for them it represented great value for money.

Guests commented that the style and decor of the hotel was very outdated and stuck in the 1970's, with many guests suggesting that the management of the hotel could invest in new furniture to give it a style overhaul to make the place more comfortable.

A number of guests who left negative reviews about the hotel seemed to have a lot of trouble checking-in, out of hours and on a Sunday. It seems that reception is not always manned and the confusion of what to do, and how to check-in during these time featured across reviews.

Guests who were disappointed by the basic features of the hotel left less than positive reviews. These guests complained that the TVs were too small and the appliances were cheap and well past their used by date.
