Hotel Firs Lodge (London, United Kingdom)

Firs Lodge is a good place to stop if you have an early flight from Heathrow the next day, as it is close to the airport and the tube station which will take you there is just a short walk away. There are plenty of parking spaces here too, if you are bringing your car. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and Twickenham Rugby Stadium isn't far away.

Although - as you might expect in London - some of the rooms are quite small, the level of cleanliness that they display is very good and they are well appointed. The beds are comfortable enough and the Wi-Fi connection is good. You can make yourself a hot drink too.

The staff here go out of their way to ensure you are happy with your stay. Nothing feels like it is too much trouble and they are happy to help you out with regard to how best to get to the airport or into the middle of London. You'll feel very well looked after.

You might struggle to get an undisturbed night's sleep at this hotel. The traffic outside is often clearly audible and the sound insulation between rooms isn't the best. If your neighbours are being anything other than quiet, you will most likely hear them.

Some of the bathrooms at Firs Lodge are incredibly small. There isn't much space in them, with tiny sinks and nowhere to put your toiletries. As well as this, the water pressure in the shower isn't especially strong and it's tricky to regulate the temperature.

Some previous guests have noted that they had a hard time trying to get their room to a comfortable temperature. It was either too hot for them, or too cold.
