Hotel Federal City Inn & Suites (New Orleans, USA)

Federal City Inn & Suites staff is very friendly and provide excellent customer service with easy check-in and check-out process. Staff is knowledgeable about New Orleans and it's attractions and activities. You can also rely on them for restaurant recommendations and advice on transportation and directions.

Rooms are spacious, extremely clean and very comfortable. The kitchenette is well stocked and convenient for meal prep if you don't want to eat out every meal. There is plenty of free self parking which is convenient.

The hotel is located outside the city center so it's quiet and away from the noise and tourist bustle. It's close to Algiers Ferry for an enjoyable ride across the river to the French Quarter and other various attractions. You can also easily take a bus or taxi and avoid driving in traffic. It's a good option for a quiet stay with easy transportation and reasonable prices.

Federal City Inn & Suites is far from the bustle and excitement of downtown New Orleans. You need to drive, take the bus or catch the ferry to get to the French Quarter and areas of interest. There aren't a lot of restaurants or grocery stores in the area; it's pretty isolated and difficult to locate initially. Also, the neighborhood is run down and the hotel a bit dated looking.

While there are kitchenettes for food prep, there is no breakfast onsite, coffee/tea in the lobby, etc. There also aren't many eating options in the area.

The hotel doesn't have elevators so if you have a lot of luggage (or mobility issues) you may prefer the ground floor.
