Staff are very pleasant and helpful and, generally, the hotel is worth the tariff that is charged. Management are equally approachable and more than happy to shower you with discount vouchers and free passes for neighboring attractions and restaurants.
Restaurants and grocery stores (*all important, particularly if here for a longer stay) are easy to get to. The Emery go Round free shuttle is a great bonus. Generally and with the Amtrak station only a few blocks away, the hotel provides a great 'platform' from which to enjoy a number of local attractions and places of interest.
There's no piece of waste land passed off as a car park here. The parking lot is very impressive and serves to add confidence in the other services provided here.
Rooms are only serviced every week or so! If you need fresh towels or toiletries, it's a 'DIY' exercise involving you going to the front desk to collect them.
The immediate neighborhood is stained with some very suspect characters and activities ... and room furnishings are also stained-with who knows what! Non-smoking rooms are contaminated with ... smoke. If possible, check out a room near the lobby and if happy, insist on that!
If standards of cleanliness were sufficiently high, there would be no bed bugs. There ARE bed bugs here!
