Embassy Suites Austin-Arboretum is ideally located to see the best that Austin has to offer. There are plenty of shops nearby, such as The Arboretum, and downtown is only a short drive away.

Unreliable Wi-Fi

Several guests were unhappy with the standard of Wi-Fi at Embassy Suites Austin-Arboretum. At times it became so slow as to be unusable. There was also confusion as to whether Wi-Fi was free or not. The hotel management confirmed that Wi-Fi is free but guests have the option of paying for a quicker service.

Swans divide opinion

The two swans, Butch and Sundance, which spend their time in the open-air atrium, divide opinion. Some guests find the animals a welcome sight and enjoy feeding them or watching them swim in their pond. Other guests, however, feel that it is inappropriate to keep such large animals in what they consider to be a small and artificial environment. Depending on your point of view this may enhance or adversely affect your stay here.
