This area is a very popular one with tourists because many TV shows are taped, or have been taped, in the immediate area. The inn is within easy walking distance of several of these sites and is also close to many pubs and restaurants. While you might not see a TV star, you can feel like one walking these streets.

The rates at the hotel are very affordable. This choice is a much cheaper rate than other inns in the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. While the stay and accommodations are basic, it is still a pleasant stay.

You'll receive a friendly and warm welcome and the stay will receive personal notice. The landlady is onsite and available to answer questions and concerns. The innkeeper is both nice and helpful and gets you settled. She is concerned that you have what you need for your stay, which is a nice change from impersonal chain hotels.

You'll probably not want to stay longer than overnight. This is not a holiday location for extended needs. The rooms are very small and have basic amenities. There is no luxury for the bed or the bath and no breakfast.

The rooms, and especially the bathrooms, could do with a squeaky clean overhaul. There is minor cleaning problems which leave a less than fresh feeling. Other features are stained carpet and dusty furniture tops.

The noise in the pub downstairs can be loud and unruly, especially late at night. These pub guests also seem to take most of the parking spaces, leaving guests to flounder on unfamiliar streets for a space.
