Hotel El Raset (Dénia, Spain)

It was pretty much impossible to find anything but positive sentiment expressed when it came to the staff. Again and again they were described as not only welcoming and friendly, but as exceptionally professional in the way they carried out their duties as well.

The hotel is described as being perfectly placed for both the Old Town and the ferry port. Guests felt very much at the centre of the action, and loved that the cafes, bars and streetlife of the city were to be found all around them.

Astonishingly, a few guests mentioned that not only was street parking in the area around the hotel  free, but that they never seemed to have any problem finding a decent spot when returning from their travels.

Firstly, it must be stated that the reviews were overwhelmingly positive.  It was difficult finding much written that was negative. One or two guests mentioned that they paid for the great central location by having to endure a bit of street noise at night that disturbed their sleep a little.

While it is inevitable you will find at least a couple of reviews finding the beds at a particular hotel uncomfortable, simply because of personal tastes, there seemed to be an unusual number complaining in this case. The complaint was almost always that the mattresses were too hard.

It seems guests were just a little bit unhappy with the Wi-Fi system. It was said the signal was not strong enough to provide effective connectivity to all rooms, resulting in connections breaking off all the time.
