Very few guests fault the location of this hotel, which is situated right in the city centre and is ideal for both leisure and business travellers. Central Station is within easy walking distance, and the closest metro is only a couple of minutes’ walk.
Reviewers were pleased to find several cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, with many guests mentioning that this area is one of the nicest and most picturesque in Brussels.
Negative reviews of staff are sparse; most agree the service they received was helpful and friendly, with lots of useful tips on Brussels readily provided.
Several reviewers mention that the floors in their room were very squeaky, and that they could also hear people walking in other rooms, indicating they had much the same problem. A few reviewers also found the stairs to be quite loud, which disturbed them
The overall consensus is that the breakfast is not necessarily a negative, but is quite standard and simple. Many thought the variety on offer could be increased. Those that mentioned the price of breakfast found it to be too costly for what was provided.
Though the hotel says rooms are complete with private bathrooms, some guests say their bathroom was outside the room across the hall, which they found to be a nuisance and quite odd in this level of accommodation.
