Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Laurel (Laurel, USA)

A number of previous guests to this Doubletree commented on how friendly and courteous the staff were.  It seems that no request was to much trouble for the staff to accommodate.

The strength and reliability of the Wi-Fi signal rated a special mention across a few reviewers who commented that it was a relief that this service was working well so that they could stay connected to friends and family whilst travelling.

Some reviews specifically mentioned the seamless and smooth check-in at the hotel with some Honors members commenting it was the easiest that they had come across in their overall Doubletree experience.

Some guests who were allocated rooms which faced onto the Atrium wrote in their reviews that they found the noise excessive. It seems the Atrium amplifies the noise from down below in the bar and this disrupted the peace and quite for many guests.

Some guests were disappointed at the state of the amenities which have been neglected nice the hotel was refurbished by the Doubletree chain.  For some it was a shame that the pool had been obviously filled in and permanently closed, others thought that the gym was too small and could use some upgrading.

A bug bear for some travellers who were staying more than a couple of nights on extended stays was the lack of daily housekeeping. These guests were a little frustrated at having no fresh linens and a daily turnover which would have made their stay more comfortable.
