Hotel Divi Dutch Village Beach Resort (Oranjestad, Aruba)

With the hotel in the low-rise section of the island, you'll actually see more of the area's beauty and the sunsets without the crowds. Guests found the somewhat remote location to be ideal for a quiet vacation, since you will find ample opportunity to unwind, but they also pointed out that you're only a ten-minute drive from the airport as well as downtown Oranjestad.

Not only does the hotel offer useful amenities like a pools, hot tubs, BBQ grills or nightly entertainment, but guests also appreciated that comfortable rooms. They found them to be quite spacious, particularly the multi-bedroom suites, and liked that they were equipped with full kitchens and additional living areas.

Guests noted that purchasing the all-inclusive package offers wonderful additional benefits, since you'll be able to drink and dine at three other resorts, and amenities like water sports, the kids' club, bicycle rentals and all service charges are included as well.

Several guests stated that the staff was less than helpful, since it could not provide information on the hotel's amenities and service such as opening hours of its pool bar, where to exchange beach towels or how to get to the shuttle pickup location.

A few guests noted that housekeeping seemed to have forgotten to service their rooms occasionally, and sometimes too few towels, wash cloths and trash bags were supplied.

As guests pointed out, the hotel is starting to show its age, which is evident in the room's interior due to the furniture being a bit worn, the showers not draining too well and the air-conditioning units occasionally acting up.
