Hotel De France (Paris, France)

The hotel is said to be a good priced accommodation for many guests looking for a bargain in Paris. They felt the included breakfast was a nice touch and the clean and cosy rooms were good to stay in.

The staff is said to be friendly and spoke good English as well. They recommended places to go in the area and sometimes would help take luggage up the stairs. They were available for requests or questions guests may have during their stay.

The hotel's location is said to be convenient for both leisure and business trips. It was within a close walk from several transit stops to connect to the main parts of the city. There are also many restaurants, shops and bars.

Some guests complained the showers and bathrooms were very tiny to the point of being uncomfortable. They mentioned taking showers was an ordeal given the tight space to move.

The lack of air-conditioning and elevator was a couple of amenities that some guests wished they had known better before booking. Some thought the rooms were so hot they were not able to sleep. Some guests had to climb several flights of stairs to get to their rooms.
