The breakfast has a good selection of food available with a good choice of cold foods such as fresh fruit, cereals or yogurts and also a good choice of cooked food such biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage and all the traditional options.
Staff working on the front desk are very friendly and make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. They will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and are more than willing to recommend places to eat in the area with one previous guests reporting that they even lent them their own personal phone charger which was very much appreciated.
The décor is looking tired and dated and in some places with furniture such as beds and mattresses needing replacing and carpets either needing a really good deep clean or replacing completely.
Some rooms are designated as smoking so there will obviously be a smell of smoke in these rooms, but according to reports from previous guests there is also a strong smell of smoke in other rooms, particularly the ones which adjoin the smoking rooms.
Although there is Wi-Fi available throughout the signal is quite weak and if you do get a signal then the download speed is so slow that it is not worth trying to use it.
