For many guests, this hotel's location is very hard to beat. Situated right on Gatlinburg's main drag, it provides great access to the town's main sites, including Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies as well as many of the area's shops and restaurants. If the proximity to town wasn't close enough, those who came by car were extremely grateful for the on-site parking.
Guests appear to be extremely impressed by the sheer variety of this hotel's hot breakfast buffet. Whether you want pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy or just a simple bowl of cereal, you definitely won't go hungry here.
Rooms here appear to be well above average size, with many commenting positively on this aspect of their stay. Additionally, quite a number of guests noted that the beds here were superbly comfortable.
Unfortunately, Wi-Fi connectively appeared to be a problem for some, with guests often struggling to access and securely connect to this hotel's network.
While many had extremely pleasant stays here, some felt that this hotel really could use a facelift. The external appearance of the property was too dated for some, while others felt that the interior of the rooms - especially the bathrooms - needed some TLC.
While there is parking here, it appears that spaces are at a premium during busy times, with some guests resorting to parking their cars in the lot of another property across the street due to the dearth of spots. For some visitors, this aspect of their stay unfortunately had an impact on what was overall a very good guest experience.
