Being within walking distance of shops and restaurants was handy for guests who were happy to leave the car behind. Overall, guests were happy with the location of Coral Reef Inn & Suites, and found no surprises with proximity to local attractions.

Dated rooms were high on the list of reasons why guests might be weary of returning. While generally clean, some guests just couldn't overlook things like worn furniture, stained carpets, and an older TV with poor reception. It was definitely time to bring this hotel up to modern standards.

Rooms facing the water were the preferred choice for guests who were sometimes given a less than desirable alternative. Rooms at the back of the building looked out over a shopping center, much to the dissatisfaction of a few.

Several guests said that rooms designated as non-smoking smelled of cigarette smoke. It was hard for some to escape the underlying scent, and others complained of smokers near their patio doors. You might want to ask for a room away from the designated smoking area if you are sensitive to this smell.
