The rooms, while somewhat basic in their design according to guests, are satisfactorily clean. Guests report that they are usually well-prepped prior to their arrival, and that the staff does an admirable job of keeping them clean during their stay.

Guests describe the pool area at Club Aquarium as “clean and tidy.” Waters are clear and the area circling the pool is free of debris. Additionally, guests say that there are plenty of sun loungers to enjoy, allowing for an easy tan.

In a surprising move, the air conditioning at this location is limited. Guests say that the apartments only come with complimentary air conditioning for six hours each day. Past that six hour point, guests will have to pay a daily fee for additional air conditioning use. Many guests find this to be a stingy policy.

Guests warn that while the rooms are clean, the decor is dated. Furniture is old and tired looking, and there are also no televisions. You'll need to go down to the public television lounge to enjoy this entertainment, instead.

A few guests note that the walk into town from Club Aquarium can be a little difficult due to the steep hill. Those that have impaired mobility may be bothered by this walk.
