About Chablé Maroma

The interior design takes its inspiration from the beautiful nature of the Mayan area: The jungle and the Caribbean Sea. The constant use of neutral colors mixed with tropical woods, stones, textures and Mexican textiles invite us to enjoy timeless spaces. The use of tropical woods is reflected in all the furniture, natural textiles with embroidery of Mexican figures, always taking care of the use of natural and regional textures and materials as the galarza stone, linen, chukum, cement tile from Yucatan, jute fibers and ceramics. The rooms and public areas have unique and exclusive details present in the decorative art: The lamps are produced and woven by Mexican craftsmen, the wall art has local influence like the use of threads used in the fabrication of hammocks and trunks recovered combine together to create unique and elegant pieces. As part of the local inspiration and details there is inside the bathrooms a delicate lamp shade with the figure of a Quetzal, a local bird that is an endangered specie. BU´UL Chablé's flagship dining room features one-of-a-kind culinary experiences by Chef Jorge Vallejo: contemporary Mexican at the highest level, innovative yet always authentic, with abiding respect for local ingredients and techniques.
