Comments about the hotel consistently featured remarks about the lovely staff at the hotel, with many previous guests saying that that the staff where only too happy to help them have an excellent time.

For many guests the location of the hotel was by far its best feature. Situated mid way between the Fortitude Valley area and the city's central business district was very convenient for most. The included parking was also a hit with guests who know it was good value due to the high costs of parking charges in nearby parking garages.

Previous guests commented that they thought that the living areas within the apartments were spacious and provided ample space for their party to move about freely, without feeling cramped or restricted. The feeling of extra space also left guest feeling as though the had secured value for money during their stay.

Some guests commented that they felt that the hotel could use an upgrade to its furnishings and decor to give it a more contemporary feel. Some of the carpets were stained and there was broken and chipped furniture which detracted from the style of the hotel.

A number of guests who are light sleepers found it a little difficult to get a good nights sleep due to the noise from the traffic in and around the hotels' immediate vicinity. Some guests suggested that the hotel could improve their soundproofing by installing double glazing.
