Skiing, fishing, walking—everything's possible in the beautiful nature reserve. And the B&B caters to outdoor enthusiast with the chalet rooms and drying facilities. Several castles are in the surrounding area as are some world famous whisky distilleries.
With breakfast included and only a short walk into town, many guests find the price to be one of the main advantages to a stay here.
The road leading to Carn Mhor is not the smoothest in the world. Expect bumps.
It is possible that the room nearest to the kitchen can get a bit noisy in the morning with cooking sounds. Guests are usually warned beforehand.
The private bathrooms are not always on the same floor as the room, which has surprised some guests.
