Windsor Street Apartments have six rooms and are located in Edinburg, United Kingdom. These three-star apartments are ten minutes’ walk to the Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station. These apartments were considered to be ideal for huge groups or families consisting of about ten people. Apartments are very spacious and have two floors with four bedrooms and equipped with modern amenities. Guests could cook their own meals and wash their clothes. Beds were very comfortable.
Guests were more than happy with the location of the apartments. Since it is centrally located, all the places of interest are at a walking distance, which makes it easier for guests to get around. The Edinburgh Rail station, bus stand and shops are close by. Bars, restaurants and pubs are just a stroll away. The Edinburgh Castle is within a mile of the apartments.
Having more than two bathrooms was helpful for guests as they did not have to rush. All the guests in large groups could get ready without hurrying. Bathrooms are spacious and provided with good toiletries/clean towels. The facility to store the luggage before Check-in and after Check-out was much appreciated by the guests. Hotel staff is available 24 hours.
Few guests felt that the design of the apartments in the basement could have been better as they were very dark. Wi-Fi connection was very sluggish too.
The fact that there was only one key for a group of people staying in the apartments was found to be inconvenient by the guests.
Some guests were disappointed to see that there were no lamps, cushions, rugs and curtains in the lounge/living area giving it a rugged look. There were no bedside tables. Broken plug sockets and exposed ceiling light bulbs were also a hazard that was overlooked by the hotel staff.
