Hotel Cafe Valance (Swansea, United Kingdom)

The well-furnished rooms made for a comfortable stay according to guests to the Café Valance, with decent beds and finished to a high standard.

To accompany the comfortable and well-maintained facilities, guests also said the rooms were clean on entry making for a welcoming arrival.

While there aren’t always staff on site in the hotel part of the complex, staff within the restaurant were helpful and cheerful and able to services all guests requirements and requests.

Some guests were not satisfied with the rooms, saying that they were smaller than expected. Check and double check images on the website or ask the size when booking to be sure it will be big enough for you.

Guests didn’t feel the Café Valance was particularly good value for money, saying that the rooms were overpriced for their size and the fact breakfast wasn’t included in the price.

Rooms are accessed via an outside set of stairs which are open to the elements. A number of guests suggested the stairs were precarious and slippery. Guest with limited mobility, without someone to assistance may struggle.
