Patricks With Rooms is a privately owned enterprise in Mumbles, Swansea offering accommodation and quality dining in the attached restaurant. Sixteen sea facing rooms are offered all of which have a contemporary finish and feature en suite bathroom, flat screen television with DVD player and iPod dock and a selection of DVDs are offered to guests. Extra z beds and cots are available for an extra charge. The hotel boasts a gym with exercise equipment, free weights and a punch bag and free Wi-Fi is offered. Families are very welcome and there are various toys and games to keep children occupied. Patricks With Rooms boasts an excellent restaurant with a wide selection of dishes using fresh local produce and guests can unwind in the lounge bar and enjoy drinks and snacks. The sea front is just a short walk away as are many popular independent shops.

Food in the restaurant is made using fresh local produce with seafood in particular featuring highly on the menu offering dishes such as mackerel or lava bread. The dishes are presented really well and it is a fantastic gastronomic experience. Afternoon tea is also popular with pastries, sandwiches, pizza and cake all homemade and served using elegant bone china.
All rooms available have a sea view which looks right out across the bay. It is such a breath-taking thing to wake up to everyday. It is just a short walk to the sea front where you can walk along the promenade or just sit down, chill out and take in the amazing vista.
Everybody is very friendly and really warm and welcoming. The service in the bar and restaurant is excellent and there is always somebody on hand to take an order or assist with something. They are also happy to give advice and recommendations as to what there is to see and do in the area and where the best locations are to get good photographs.
There is no on site car parking available, but there is a public car park across the road. You will have to pay for this and at times it can get quite busy.
There is an extensive wine list and a wide selection of drinks available, but no draught beers or lagers. Instead they are served in bottles and quite expensive as they are only small.
Some reviews have said that for the prices charged you don’t get what you pay for with five star prices, but three star furnishings. It has also been described as pretentious by some previous guests.
