The Norton House Hotel is a three-star hotel in the history-filled village of Mumbles, a brief drive from the beautiful Gower Peninsula.

The Norton House Hotel was built in 1790 and as such is a classic building with ample gardens to enjoy.
There is an option for breakfast to be served in-room for an additional fee. The Seafood Bistro Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, and it has an extensive seafood menu, including locally sourced fish and shellfish.
The Norton House Hotel is a short drive from Swansea and it’s many attractions including; museums, marina, golf clubs, parks, swimming pools, university, cinema and shopping centre. Nearby is the Coastal Path, which offers opportunities for walking and cycling.
Guests of the Norton House Hotel and Restaurant had positive things to say about most aspects of the dining experience. The food preparation and presentation received excellent feedback. The ambience in the restaurant was also a hit, with a light, airy, open room. Guests reported that the service was fast, efficient, and the servers themselves were polite.

Weddings Are a Win.
Many guests who utilized this hotel as a wedding venue (and those who were in attendance) had plenty of positive things to say about the experience. Guests mentioned how the staff went above and beyond to ensure the wedding went just as imagined by the bride and wedding party. The venue is a big hit for events such as this.
Rooms Need Some TLC.
Guests have mentioned that some of the guest rooms, and specifically the apartments for let, are in need of some maintenance, from holes in the walls to broken wardrobe doors and dirty showers.
Some may not necessarily consider this a negative, but some guests reported that the patrons of the dining areas are of an older generation. There is even an Early Bird menu at the hotel restaurant.
While the dining experience received praise from guests, the food itself was found lacking. Guests reported that the food was more basic than anticipated, with complaints such as tough, dry meats, lack of selection, etc.
