Some of the guest rooms at Brownsover Hall, especially those situated in the out-buildings, feature dated decor. Also, many of the chairs are quite uncomfortable which makes it less-than-relaxing when you want to settle-in with a hot cup of tea.

If you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy a cocktail in the evening, be aware that the bar can get quite noisy, especially on the weekends when there are weddings.
