Broadway Country House is situated on seven acres of land overlooking Carmarthen Bay. Especially popular for weddings, its Victorian-era style lets guests experience a historical setting while enjoying modern conveniences. There are nine rooms at Broadway Country House, some of which have views of the water. All units have en-suite accommodations and televisions, along with Wi-Fi access. Large bay windows fill the accommodations with plenty of natural light. Tea-making equipment is also provided. "Glamping" pods, two of which have hot tubs, are also available. Dogs are permitted with prior arrangements. Also, the on-site parking is free. A Welsh-style breakfast is included in the room costs. For later meals, guests can try the on-site restaurant. It serves British fare with meats and vegetables sourced locally whenever possible. This property is less than three kilometres from Dylan Thomas Boathouse, the famous poet's retreat, which is now a museum. Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo is 30 minutes away by car.

Guests consistently describe the rooms at Broadway Country House as being of a good standard, often mentioning that they found the accommodation spacious and comfortable. Those guests whose rooms offered views of Carmarthen Bay were particularly impressed.
There's little that guests don't like about the surroundings of this country hotel. From the comfortable lounge to the Orangery in the grounds, there's plenty of places to relax for a while. Plus, the gardens are the perfect place for a scenic walk.
Guests rate the quality of the breakfast and evening meals highly, often commenting that they found the food expertly cooked and nicely presented. Many previous guests have found that the menu for evening meals is well priced.
Although guests are generally complimentary about the standard of the rooms, reviews suggest there are some minor shortcomings. These include occasional issues with the Wi-Fi, small bath towels and an unacceptable amount of cobwebs in the corners of the room.
A number of guests found the restaurant closure on Saturday and Sunday nights a little irritating. Plus, if you head out to eat but want to leave your car behind, you'll be at the mercy of local cabs which are said to be expensive and less than plentiful.
While guests are often quick to compliment the staff here, some found it a little frustrating that the front desk was often left unmanned. You may encounter short waits when trying to speak to a member of staff.
