About Borgo Collelungo

Borgo Collelungo is located on a beautiful hill near Montaione, between Florence and Siena. An ancient complex of renovated houses dating back presumably to 1100 in a place nestled between the famous vineyards of the area and in complete contact with nature. Collelungo is an ancient farming hamlet, known since Medieval times as a community from the area of Tonda, situated on an elongated hill from whence the hamlet derives its name (colle lungo = long hill) and overlooking the valley of Evola. The present accommodation structure was opened in 1996 and since then has welcomed thousands guests from all over the world. Its position in the hills surrounding the Montaione area, at about 300 m above sea level, is particularly convenient for those wishing to visit the most famous Tuscan cities and towns, such as Florence, Siena, Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, Certaldo, Vinci and many other.
