Guests usually thought the beds were comfortable. That was a commonly cited perk, especially because a lot of the guests were merely looking for a decent place to sleep in the middle of longer journeys. They said the mattresses were quite supportive.

Guests were very surprised by how much was offered as part of the hotel's free breakfast buffet. Some guests particularly liked the Southern-style foods and appreciated how some of the items were hot, unlike at hotels that serve only cold items at their free breakfasts.

Besides being easy to reach from the roadway, guests remarked that the hotel is close to places to eat and shop. Some guests also stayed here when getting medical treatments in the area, and found the property was well located for all they needed to do.

Guests sometimes got upset about how loud the air conditioners were when running. Because of the loud racket, some guests opted to use earplugs while the rooms were cooling down, especially if they were trying to sleep while using the air conditioners.

Guests often remarked that the soundproofing between the rooms is not nearly as strong as it should be. They were able to easily hear fellow occupants, even when it seemed like those individuals were not going out of their way to behave in ways that were especially loud.

From time to time, guests said that the prices they paid to stay here were slightly higher than they would have expected based on the amenities offered. Even so, the price was usually not so high as to prohibit people from staying here again if they were in the area.
