Hotel Belvedere (Vienna, Austria)

The apartments boast a fantastic location, close to the busy Landstrasse high street, which features many interesting shops and tasty restaurants and cafes. Guests loved that they were practically next door to the gorgeous Belvedere Palace, and found that most major tourist attractions were within walking distance of the aparthotel. In addition, there are many convenient public transportation connexions nearby, including two tram stops, the U-Bahn trains, and an S-Bahn train with direct links to the airport.

Guests were quite impressed with the apartments, especially their spaciousness and availability of storage space. The bathrooms are quite roomy as well, and have great shower facilities. The flats are well appointed and well equipped with everything you may need. The full kitchens are a highlight, and the washing machines are also very convenient.

The staff are said to be very nice and helpful. They are full of great recommendations, so don’t hesitate to ask about local hotspots.

Keep in mind that the hotel reception is not always manned. If you arrive too early, you may find yourself locked out of the building. If you plan arriving outside standard check-in hours, make sure to call ahead to plan your arrival accordingly. Guests say there is a specific late check-in procedure that can be a bit confusing.

The Wi-Fi is said to be quite slow in the apartments, but is sufficient for basic needs like checking email or surfing tourist sites. In some rooms, the signal is also quite poor.

While the rooms are not exactly dirty, guests say that cleaning could definitely be improved, and housekeeping could be a bit more attentive to detail.
