The guesthouse locale sets on a quiet street near the waterfront and close to downtown, which is great. You basically have two-for-one. You are near what's happening but don't have to deal with the noise.

There is an early evening wine tasting with cheeses and assorted meats to get you acquainted with other visitors. Then there's the morning coffee followed by a continental breakfast with various fruits, fresh baked bread, yogurt, and more. Around late afternoon there are cookies, cider, and tea for your enjoyment.

This guesthouse has a romantic ambiance. The rooms are decorated with numerous soft fabrics, long ruffled curtains, and plush pillows. If you are on your honeymoon, celebrating your wedding anniversary or an engagement, this place is perfect.

Don't be surprised to find the host missing in action. For example, you may receive misleading information like wrong contact information. Lack of effort to assist visitors with things like luggage, phone calls and emails go unanswered, and there may not be anyone there when you show-up leaving you waiting for hours before you can get to your room.

Most places will give you a break, if a cancellation is due to a medical emergency and you show the proper documentation. Well, it may not work here and you won't get you any money back. Be prepared and purchase travel insurance.

There are some things that need a redoing or cleaned like stains on the rug, more modern TV, and more light in the rooms. There is no coffee machine or fridge (of course, this is a matter of preference) and the shower water pressure and Wi-Fi is weak.
