Most guests love Axotel Lyon Perrache's location, since it is just a short walk to the train station. Moreover, there are many excellent eateries nearby, along with a few shops to buy supplies such as wine and beer.

Guests who stayed here didn't spend much despite enjoying quality amenities and services. Thus, if you want to enjoy Paris but do not want to blow your pocket, this is the hotel to choose. This may not be your fancy hotel, but you can rest easy knowing that the amenities and services here are of high quality.

The receptionists both at check in and check-out are friendly, helpful, and efficient according to the guests. They speak great English as well, so you won't have any problems regarding language barriers. Unlike other hotels, a line of guests trying to check in is non-existent here.

Many of the guests complained about the size of the rooms, saying that there's barely a space left for walking inside their quarters. Beds are small too, and because the rooms are small, some common room appliances are not present.

Some toilets looked as if they weren't scrubbed, while some guests found hairs in the drain and in the shower. Do not be surprised if you find a few strands under your bed. You can call the front desk and tell them to send a housekeeper right away when you experience any of these issues.

Some guests reported that the beds they had in their rooms were too narrow and short for them. Moreover, some other guests complained that the beds were hard, so they woke up with a backache.
