Avoca lodge is a family-style complex situated 15 minutes walk away from Coogee beach. It is convenient for access to Prince of Wales Hospital and close to all the amenities of Randwick including shops, cafes, and restaurants. It is close to public transport and only a 20-minute bus ride to the centre of Sydney. There are 21 rooms comprising single, double, and family rooms. They all have private ensuite facilities, a television, tea/coffee making facilities, and a fridge. There is a guest kitchen on site and some rooms offer wheelchair access. Wi-fi available in the entire hotel free of charge and free public parking can be found at a nearby location. There is a maximum of 1 extra bed in a room and it is subject to a 30 AUD charge per night. Check-in is between 1400 and 1900 hours, and checkout is between 1000 and 1100 hours.
