The owner of the Ardleigh Guest House was popular with many past guests. Warm and friendly, the guest house's proprietor was also thought of as very considerate and accommodating.

Whilst it is conveniently positioned next to a bus stop, the location of the guest house is not the most ideal for Edinburgh city centre - according to the overall feedback of previous guests. The city centre is approximately 30 minutes away on foot from the accommodation.

The Ardleigh Guest House is considered very much a basic accommodation choice, with little in the way of room amenities and recreational spaces. In addition, the accommodation is lacking fairly standard features such as a lift and on-site parking - both of which have caused issues on occasion in the past.
