About Alte Vogtei

Let the former town hall in the heart of the old city of backnang enchant you. The history of our house reaches back to the year 1625 as the reeve Jacob Bestlein ordered the building of this house. After the partly destruction through a city fire in 1693 and the following reconstruction this building was used as a official residence until the late 19th century. Today our hotel with 13 wonderful rooms and suites in different sizes, each one of them affectionately and individually arranged, fullfills all your wishes. On arrival you receive entrance through our door opening system. We are looking forward to your visit.
