Hotel AKA Tribeca (New York, USA)

The hotel offers complimentary yoga classes. It's a rare find in a hotel of any type.

You can take the "A" train to the airport quite cheaply from the hotel. The cost is much less than a taxi ride and you can brag that you took the "A" train, which came to fame from the successful Duke Ellington song "Take The A Train.".

Besides being extremely clean, the hotel service is magical. Things you need are there before you know it. For example, if it's raining there's an umbrella waiting for you in your room and at the door. Or, if you send them something to be printed, you don't have to pick it up downstairs, someone from personnel will quietly slip it under your door. It's pampering and quality service rolled into one.

Believe it or not but the rooms in this plush hotel are noisy! You can hear the visitors next door and everything in the hallways. They are paper-thin and distracts from the quality of the hotel.

The hotel is located more downtown, which is not really in the glitz and glamor of the Midtown Manhattan area. In other words, there is little to sight-see downtown outside of the fabulous World Trade Center and 9/11 Memorial Museum. On the flip side, you do get peace and quiet during the night hours.

The hotel price per-night is not cheap. Even though the rooms are nicely decorated, the size is not impressive. Not only that, the bathroom has no door!
