The balcony is a nice place to relax if it's in the right place. If you have a nice view, relaxing on the hotel balcony is a pleasure.
The staff are hard workers. Though the facility appears to be understaffed, the personnel that is there try their best to accommodate you.
In the photos, the hotel seems to be up-to-date, but it's not. The bathroom is old and needs a serious update. Beds could be more comfortable, new bed sheets are needed, carpets looks grimy, rust in certain places, and the room has a smell. There a number of things that make a hotel appear refreshing, and this place does not have them.
The hotel holds lots of conventions, so if you are concerned about partying and a lot of noise, it's best you check to see what's happening when you make your booking. Various types of events and conventions from weddings to biker conventions are held at the hotel. This means smoking, loud music, people talking loud, etc. The walls are paper thin too.
The noise from the freeway is unbearable. Make sure you ask about this when you make your booking, perhaps you can book a room away from that side of the hotel.
