The vast majority of visitors here found their rooms to be comfortable and clean, with many remarking positively on the size of their quarters. Guests were also delighted to find that the property's bathrooms are decidedly spacious.

The reception team here - and especially the current manager and assistant manager - go out of their way to be helpful and courteous to all new arrivals. Their efforts haven't gone unnoticed and many have commented on how their professional attitude has helped to rectify any unforeseen guest issues.

While there is an upscale hotel near this property, many guests feel that this place - given its location - offers great value for money. Situated minutes from the airport and just a few miles from the downtown area, for some guests - especially those on stays of a few weeks or longer - have remarked that this hotel is a banker for those who are trying to save a buck.

There have been intermittent reports of sticky floors and dirty carpets in rooms. Additionally, others have also commented that while their units were fine, the first impressions of the lobby area were not great in terms of overall cleanliness. Finally, many also noted that some units had strange food and smoky smells about them.

While their overall experiences here were fine, a few guests were unhappy at having their cards charged without receiving any sort of prior verification from staff.

San Diego can be sticky and there were a number of complaints here regarding malfunctioning air conditioning units. Additionally, some guests reported missing silverware and glasses in their kitchen areas.
