Guest reviewers consistently mentioned the friendly and cheerful staff at the hotel who with welcome cookie in hand made check-in go smoothly and it seems that no request was too much trouble to be accommodated by staff.

A number of guests to the hotel commented that it is very centrally located in downtown Chattanooga and within walking distance to local shops and restaurants. A number of guests visiting the University also remarked that the hotel was ideally placed for their visit.

Some guests had such a good nights sleep courtesy of Hilton's Sweet Dreams sleep experience that they left reviews about how comfortable their bed and linens where during their stay.

Some guests did not have a great nights sleep at the hotel due to the noise between rooms. These guest firmly suggested that the hotel invest in additional sound-proofing between rooms to ensure that future guests have a more comfortable stay. Some guests also commented that the room decor was a little dark and could do with a bit of brightening up!

Two common bug-bears for guests to this hotel were the very slow elevators which delayed their entry and exit and the extremely slow Wi-Fi, both of which frustrated guests to the point were complaints to management were made during their stay.

A number of previous guests signaled their concerns that on arrival their rooms were not very clean. Similarly, a number of guests staying multiple nights reported that they did not receive any housekeeping services during their stay and had to insist on new towels and cleaning of their rooms.
