Everyone on staff is warm, welcoming and friendly. No request seems to be too much trouble and they are happy to regale you with the history of the hotel and local attractions.
County offers you several dining options and each one is better than the last. Their home-baked goods are delectable and most of their food is locally sourced which makes it extra fresh.
If you have low mobility, are travelling with a lot of luggage or have small children in tow, be aware that not only is there no lift at this hotel, but the stairs are rather steep.
The Internet connection is spotty, especially in the guest rooms. In addition, mobile phone reception can be problematic as well.
Because of County’s popularity, the small car park can fill up quickly, leaving you having to search for alternative parking which can certainly be frustrating.
