The staff at Corstorphine Lodge were found by guests to be welcoming and helpful, and especially the breakfast team.

You will find the rooms to be very spacious, quiet in comparison to downtown Edinburgh, clean and in addition, the bar/lounge is a relaxing spot for a drink at the end of the day.

The hotel’s location on the bus route between Edinburgh Airport and the city centre meant easy access via the bus stop just down the road, and good shops and restaurants can be found within an easy walk in the neighbourhood.

A number of guests found the rooms to be dated, the rooms a little dusty and the decor quirky, however, others considered the quality to be rather good considering the price.

The beds here have been found to be too firm for the preferences of some, so if you really appreciate a soft mattress, then perhaps consider other options.

There is free Wi-Fi in the hotel, but if you want to use it, you will have to do so in the common areas as very little of that signal permeates to the guest rooms.
