While there were some problems with plane noise that prevented some from fully enjoying it, the pool terrace was described as especially lovely, very large and a good place to catch some rays.

Those without their own transport were very pleased to find that there was a bus stop right outside the hotel and that there was a direct bus to Corfu. This allowed them to get by without hiring a car.

While it seems guests did have a few issues with the hotel, most went on to say that the staff were fantastic and made many of the problems seem much less severe. They were generally described as both friendly and very willing to help.

While the location would be perfect for planespoters, most guests found being very near the runway to be close to unbearable. The noise from the planes was said to be continuous throughout the day, and carried on into the night as well. Many found it difficult to relax by the pool with planes flying over every couple of minutes.

Guests really didn't seem to like the showers in their bathrooms. They are described as so tiny that even a regular sized person would have a very difficult time using them. They were also said to be temperamental, shooting water here there and everywhere if you didn't continually hold on to the shower head.

Like most hotels it seems, Hellinis' Wi-Fi system seemed to have trouble doing the job expected of it. Guests report that, firstly, the signal wasn't strong enough to reach all rooms and floors and, secondly, even when connected it was so slow you may as well not have bothered.
