Ski Dubai (Dubai, United Arab Emirates)

Ski Dubai is located within the Mall of the Emirates and first opened its doors to skiers in 2005. It covers an area of 22,500-square meters and was the first indoor ski resort to be built in the Middle East with real snow. There are 5 different runs varying in height, length and difficulty, the longest is 400metres and drops 60metres. It has the first indoor black run but also gentle beginner slopes and a 90-meter-long quarter pipe for snowboarders. There is both a quad lift and a tow lift to transport skiers to the top of the slope. The temperature is between minus1 and 2 and all equipment including clothing can be hired and is included in the admission price. Also within the centre there are sledge and toboggan runs, a body slide, climbing towers, a snowball throwing area, an ice cave, and a 3D theatre. There are also two cafes, St Moritz at the entrance and the Avalanche at the mid station with views over the slopes. Opening times are Sunday to Wednesday 10:00 - 23:00 Thursday 10:00 - 00:00 Friday 9:00 - 00:00 and Saturday 9:00 - 23:00. Prices to Snow Park: Adult 90 (16.41 euros) Child 80 (14.58 euros) Ski Slope (2 hours) Adult 180 (32.81 euros) Child 150 (27.34).
