Villa Romana Hotel & Spa (Minori, Italy)

The location of this seaside hotel is outstanding. Directly on the coast, it offers excellent beach access and stunning views out to sea. Additionally, it is situated just off of the main coast road that winds its way through the Amalfi region and, for those hoping to explore the area further, also boasts excellent nearby bus links.

The staff at this hotel - especially the reception team - are outstanding. Guests have commented very positively on their efforts, with many noting that they go above and beyond to offer assistance. Not only are they able to suggest a restaurant or an itinerary, but if you just need a local bus ticket or simple directions, they are more than happy to oblige.

Minori is a small town, but this hotel is well-situated for those looking to make the most of their time here. While this hotel offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, those hoping for something different were happy to find a huge choice in close proximity to this property.

Those with rooms facing the street commented that noise was a particular problem. Additionally, many found the showers to be uncomfortably small while for others, odd paint-like smells emanating from the AC units were more of a concern.

While the breakfasts and lunches here come highly commended, many found the dinner menu to be disappointingly bland and, for some, rather expensive.

The breakfast offerings were good, but many reported that the coffee served during this meal was oddly weak. Guests found that better quality could be had by simply going to the bar and requesting a freshly made cappuccino.
