Those on a budget were extremely pleased with this property in the overall sense. While the in-room ambience is distinctly no-frills, units themselves were impressive for their sheer size, with many praising their spacious accommodation. This perk was unexpected, given this property's budget price point.The location of this property was also very impressive; many praised its proximity to the central business district as well as to the town's famous Cataract Gorge.

The team here are a real asset to this property. On the accommodation side of things, the reception team are nothing but helpful, but many couldn't help but comment that the staff in the on-site pub are the stars of the show. Engaging and convivial, they went out of their way to make guests' stays as pleasant as possible.

Noise is a common issue in pub-style accommodation, but there were no such reports here. Many felt that the layout of the building - which features guest rooms at the back, through the restaurant area - really helped to keep things quiet. Despite being on a road, noise from passing traffic was not a problem. In fact, many reported an excellent quality of sleep.
