The Royal Anne Hotel (Kelowna, Canada)

The hotel's location was described as being very convenient by many who stayed here as they were able to walk to numerous places of interest such as local parks as well as the lake. Those who wanted to sample the nightlife and restaurants were pleased to find that they did not need to drive or get public transport to reach the nearest amenities.

Guests said that the size of their rooms exceeded their expectations as they had plenty of space to move around as well as to stow away all their belongings. Many appreciated having all the necessary mod-cons in their en-suites such as large flat-screen televisions, coffee makers and fridges which contributed to a pleasant and comfortable stay.

The continental breakfasts have been described as featuring an extensive array of items including pastries, cereals and yoghurts and fresh fruit.  Many also appreciated the various types of tea and fruit juices that were available.

Quite a few guests objected to the fact that the on-site parking lot has only a limited amount of spaces which meant that many sometimes had to look for alternative parking places as there were no free spots available.

Soundproofing was said to be rather inadequate as guests said they were able to hear noise from the hallways as well as from adjoining rooms. As the building overlooks a rather busy road guests on the lower floors said they were often able to hear traffic noise from the street below.

Guests said that the carpets in the hallways looked quite worn and tatty and were in need of replacement. The furniture and upholstery in the en-suites were also described as quite tired-looking and dated.
