The hotel bar serves a traditional Irish breakfast that many past guests have enjoyed. Guests have also mentioned that breakfast has a great deal of variety and that the breakfast room has an outstanding view of the mountains.

Tonnes of parking
Since the hotel is on the outskirts of town, many guests have decided to drive to the property. These same guests have noted that there is plenty of onsite parking, so that driving to the hotel does not becoming an issue.

Cold during the winter
Numerous guests have complained that the rooms get a little bit cold during the winter and that the radiators in the rooms have trouble keeping up when the temperature drops. Also, there is no heating in the bathroom. Make sure that you ask for extra blankets if the cold bothers you.

You will have to drive, take a taxi, or take the bus if you wish to explore Killarney during your stay the The Heights. Guests have commented that it's not overly far into town, but too far to walk.
