This is a peaceful spot to kick back and relax. Not too far from town centre, but still set back enough from the bustle to be relaxing. There's lots of greenery on the grounds and the parking is plentiful. The breakfast is popular and the pancakes are divine.
The rooms have all the expected provisions, but not a lot more. Tidy, homey and private with good showers.
Nora is a delight, never afraid to go the extra mile for her guests. She's very knowledgeable and informative on the area, so don't be afraid to ask her for directions to your day's destinations or how to best plan your tours. She's known to be down-to-earth and very sweet, and her delicious cooking at breakfast time sets you up right for the whole day!
Although the home is kept clean and tastefully presented, some areas have certainly seen better days. A few spots have a bit of a musty smell on occasion.
It may be a bit noisy here for some since it is a house - not a hotel - so bring your ear plugs or perhaps a fan. The walls are thin and some of the doors and floors creak.
Some guests might enjoy a walk into town, but those unaccustomed to walking will want to have a car available. It's a bit of a hike to the main attractions (at least a solid fifteen minutes of walking.)
