SCP Hotel Colorado Springs (Colorado Springs, USA)

The hotel is conveniently located just off the freeway which makes it easy to find and easy to access and in addition the freeway will take you straight to Colorado Springs which is only ten minutes away. There is also plenty to do near to the hotel with a cinema, ice hockey arena and lots of shops in close proximity.

Previous guests have been pleased with the service they have received from staff here with the staff on the reception desk in particular getting a special mention and also the manager who is organised and runs a tight operation.

The price has impressed previous guests who felt that although it is quite basic you do get what you pay for.

It has been reported that there are unsavoury characters hanging around the hotel until the early hours of the morning creating noise and that it doesn't feel very safe with some guests also adding that others had tried to get into their room which was quite unnerving.

Many reviews have mentioned the lack of cleaning here. There have been reports of items being left over from previous room occupants, bathrooms filthy, dirty bed linen which was stained and the carpets were so dirty and heavily stained that guests didn't even want to remove their shoes.

There is a horrible odour in many of the rooms and also around the hotel corridors which is either a strong smell of stale smoke, a musty and damp smell with damp and mould patches on walls and ceilings or a combination of smoke and mustiness which is very unpleasant.
