This hotel’s location opposite a shopping centre in London’s leafy south-western district of Wandsworth appealed to visitors. Not only were there shops and lots of eateries to suit all tastes and budgets in the neighbourhood, but also there were bus stops outside and it was conveniently a short walk from the nearest mainline railway station. Guests also found it easy to reach west London attractions, sports venues and parks by car or by public transport.

The majority of reviewers said they dealt with courteous, professional and helpful members of staff, who made check-in easy. Diners gave breakfast the thumbs up, even though they had to pay extra for it. There was praise for the wide continental selection, filling cooked breakfasts and vegetarian options.

Guests were impressed with the new look rooms at this contemporary budget hotel. Features like the flat-panel TVs, cosy beds and inviting en suite bathrooms with modern showers attracted lots of praise. Many reviewers said their rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The inviting outdoor terrace with a shaded seating area was also a popular shared facility.

It disappointed motorists that free on-site parking wasn’t provided for residents. However, they could take advantage of guest discounts at a nearby private car park, which made the cost reasonable for often pricey London.

In some parts of the accommodation, reviewers occasionally remarked that they faced a struggle to successfully regulate the room temperature.

Even though diners were largely impressed with the breakfasts, there was criticism from some diners about slow food service during evening meals. Some guests claimed their food was nothing to write home about.
